Staying at its anners is like living inside an art gallery, every nook and cranny (and I mean EVERY nook and cranny, ,every corner and even the ceilings are so beautifully decorated with hand painted art, mosaics and historical artifacts from all over the world - it took my breath away! The grounds are just stunning, the owners are so warm and hospitable in every way, I travelled alone with my 2 year old daughter but felt like part of the family. The Game drive was one of the most memorable I have ever been on in my life, I LOVED its anners and would undoubtedly go back again and again and I recommend to everyone!! Go and switch off and unwind here. You will lose your heart, but...

Not enough stars to give the rating this place and our hosts earned. We felt and experienced an unsurpassed hospitality and open arms and hearts towards us. We enjoyed every moment and even extended our stay to soak in every bit of restorative juices we needed. We can talk about its unique and well thought out room designs, tons of art items done by our fairy host Maxy. Game that roams about in front of the stoep sounds of roaring lions and hyenas, Scenic horse ride...but what won us over is the spirit of the Pretorius family and the way they care for each other and their guests and even local community. We came as strangers and left...

I see they finally giving people helmets for the horse riding. Fiancé and I stayed a night here. We went horse riding her a complete beginner with no one to lead her horse, which is standard practice in these cases so the you can guess what happened. Also, there was no safety equipment. She was thrown by her horse landed badly, and when I took her to the hospital, after a CT scan, it was found she had swelling on the brain..... it has been like 2 years since we went there, and she still struggles with short-term memory and remembering things we did together. All I got was a sorry... Will never...
