JB Countrylife Accommodation — Hotel in Gauteng

We stayed at JB Countrylife Acccomodation at the beginning and end of our visit to South Africa from the US. It was a wonderful place to start and end our holiday - far exceeded our expectations. It is off a dirt road and truly feels like you are in the countryside, however still close enough to shopping, Johannesburg, airport, restaurants and more. Our host prepared the place with wonderful little touches to make us feel welcome. The whole place was spacious, spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and equipped with everything we might need: towels, fluffy pillows and comfy bedding on the big beautiful beds. There is even a washer and dryer so we were able to do our laundry at the end of our visit before flying home. The pools are clean and lovely. The gardens and grounds are amazing. My husband and daughter enjoyed playing pool and even chess on the giant outdoor chess board. The view from the rooftop patio is breathtaking, especially at sunset. Beautiful place by a warm hearted host. We really enjoyed ourselves. My son says this is the best accommodation he has ever been to. He didn't want us to leave. It's in Centurion but it felt like I was in Mpumalanga or somewhere very far from Gauteng. Absolute tranquility, peaceful and close to the airport, hiking places and a whole lot of other amenities.

Very child friendly with a play area for kids of all ages. One of the many reasons why my son didn't want to leave.
