To whom this may concern…||Our stay at KammaFrans was everything but tranquil and comfortable. ||Upon our arrival (after confirming with us after payment that we will be able to check in earlier) they advised us that we were only allowed to check in at 6pm and the wedding starts at 4pm. We then explained that my husband was part of the groomsmen whereafter he was allowed to go to our room where the groomsmen were supposed to get ready(I am not exactly sure how you can book a room where we were supposed to get ready in and sleep in, oh and PAID for, for a groomsmen party after confirming that we can check in earlier). When I asked where should I get ready, they said they don’t know as there are no rooms available and I had to get ready in the car. ||The ladies also confirmed that the room would be cleaned before we “check in” at 6pm but it was never done. The room was dirty, there were used towels and only one fresh towel was placed there. We only discovered this after 11pm when we went to our room (I don’t feel it is our duty to ensure that your works was done). The floors were dirty and not vacuumed (it had mud and pebbles from the courtyard. ||I am not exactly sure how you expect someone to stay in such conditions if you ask a rate of R980 for the night as well as double booking it while only one couple paid for it. ||I request a refund as I am sure you could’ve done better at doing your job which is running a venue and ensuring the comfortability and cleanliness of rooms. ||Your rates are outrages for the quality offered. ||I hope to hear...

We were booked to stay over at the guesthouse/venue on Saturday 8 February. We came all the way for a wedding. As we arrived the lady at reception was not really friendly and I could see it was such an inconvenience for her to assist us in the abrupt manner we were received. If the above was the only issue, what a shock when we arrived to our “room”… Haha I would rather refer to it as an outhouse with a bed. That shower is so small, the door cannot even close once you are inside. The state of the room and how dirty it is, is ridiculous. The mosquitos that I presume previous guest smacked against the wall, were still present, and the floors were dirty. Needless to say, we did not spend the evening, and I rather drove home at 23:30 the evening than stay over in the abysmall little outhouse they call a room.

Ag nee sies man!! I would hang my head in shame if this was my establishment and expect guests to stay in such...

Firstly, the surface to the rooms are unpaved and loose rocks and makeshift loose steps everywhere. When we entered the room the floor was extremely dirty, had soil and small pebbles all over the floor. The shower(pictured) was so small you had to enter it sideways! Once you finished your shower and you try to get out, do not even touch the wash basin as it is loose. Run to the bed and when you get there you have dirty feet 😠 The towels were so hard I would not even dry my dog with it. Ah yes, and the bed was broken..... Worst stay I have ever experienced.

We attended a wedding on the 9th January 2024, the venue is stunning. Unfortunately the rooms are too expensive for what you get, pictures are nothing of what the rooms look like, No breakfast included in the price but advertised breakfast is free. Bride n groom were told 4 days before that they don't have a liquor licence - when questioned about false advertising, there answer was - we didn't know - although proof was sent to them

Stayed in unit 1. Pros - 50% discount on booking, quiet serene area, good quality bed, braai and cooking facilities; although it is in a communial kitchen. Staff very friendly. Safe secure parking. Cons - No cell phone reception, limited wifi (250 Mb), only had liquid hand wash and body lotion; no soap, shampoo, shower cap etc for bathing. Room needed airing and had no cross ventilation.
