Lancaster Guest House — Hotel in Gauteng

When we arrived, they didnt know about it and the request I made online wasn't even done. We stood there for almost 45min. The manger looked confused. The room is so small and cramped, the painting of the walls is cheep (pva), the bed is so uncomfortable. We had to share a kitchen that looks like a pig stall, the staff is so unfriendly and incompatant. The DSTV didnt work, we had to go somewhere else to eat and do something. Dont fesl safe and also our belongings when we leave it there. Its totally false advertising and the photos is not even what the room look like. I will never go there again. Service is very poor, no heating, jacuzzi, fireplace, no slippers, we had only 1 towel and we were 2! When you shower, the water runs through the door on the floor (filthy bathroom, there is NO sound proof rooms. The staff was sooo loud we could hear them talking almost the whole night. My family of 8 is from Durban. We headed to Boksburg thinking we would have accommodation with friends and were let down. Thankfully I found matthew on the net for G Chester Guest lodge who helped us get a room for the night on 25th Dec. Really God sent.
