My experience at Le Chateau was deeply disappointing. We had booked our wedding here with the clear understanding that extending our event beyond the allocated time would be possible at an agreed cost, as per the commitment made by Marius, the owner. This was a significant factor in choosing this venue for our special day.
However, during our wedding, at 8:30pm, Marius unexpectedly informed us that we needed to vacate the property by 9pm sharp. When I calmly inquired about our prior agreement, he became argumentative and dismissive, even suggesting we review the contract. We were genuinely confused and were not looking for an argument.
Marius justified this last-minute change by saying he needed to get home to his wife, which I found highly unprofessional. We had no choice but to rush our guests out, and no alternative solution was offered.
This experience cast a shadow over what should have been a memorable day. Marius's failure to uphold our initial agreement and his unprofessional conduct had a significant negative impact.

Read moreI've spent just one night in this structure.||It is very quite, inside a residential complex, a bit far from downtown and closer to the airport.||It's a safe small structure, with a family management and a real family atmosphere inside.||The rooms are large and confortable, well furnished with care to the details (like a small cherry liquor bottle available, free, for the guest, if they like).||You need to tell to the receptionist at which time you will have breakfast the day after and the dinner in the evening (if you plan to have it there), this for the proper arrangement.||I didn't have dinner there, so I cannot judge, but tje breakfast was acceptable.||I would have enjoyed also some sweets, like croissant and cakes, but it is my taste.||In general it was a positive experience, to be repeated next time in...
Read moreI recently had to stay in Kempton Park for training purposes and in searching for accommodation that included dinner bed and breakfast we came across this French named little gem. La Chateau translates to "The Castle". Taking away from the name alone, I can say that I was fed and treated like royalty. The setting and feel are completely countryside living, with a beautiful green garden. Countryside right in Kempton. The staff and owner always had my comfort and satisfaction at heart. Mary's cooking is also on an unprecedented scale with real home cooked meals served every evening and a proper farm style breakfast every morning. To the entire team at La Chateau, thank you for the effort and professional service you offer guests. I would recommend...
