The location is perfect for me, obviously it depends where you want to be. It's a very neat and quiet area. The Guesthouse is huge, but clean and staff are friendly The owners were very accommodating with requests and very generous with breakfast. Will recommend and will return in future.

I stayed there in September this year together with a group of friends from various countries for a week! It was a very nice place.. Very safe in pretoria. The manager is a real gentleman and very helpful, always ready to assist. At times he would even drive us nearby free of charge whether we have to attend office or be it for our small shopping. We really felt at home. Even the staff were very helpful. Ask for anything and they made sure to assist you. The breakfast was prepared individually for each of us. I am a vegetarian and I have no complaints since they ensured that I have delicious food to eat. On the evening of our last day at Marloot, we organized a braai and we got all the assistance from the guesthouse. The manager even offered us salad and other stuffs free of charge. I would stay there again should I be in Pretoria. I would highly recommend this place. It's really home...

This is a wonderful place to stay. The owners, the manager, and the staff treated us like family! They went out of their way to make us feel appreciated such as driving us to locations and providing dietary needs. We enjoyed very much our friendly conversations with them!||||The garden outside our room is very beautiful. It sits high above the city and encompasses fish ponds, a grilling area, a conference room, and a swimming pool. We enjoyed afternoons in the garden reading and viewing the scenery.||||Every morning, the manager cooked us a full made to order breakfast at the time we designated. We enjoyed reading and using the Wi-Fi in the comfortable living room. We stayed 5 nights and it seemed like a...

My husband and I stayed here for three nights in March. We were with Sama Tours, preparing for a 17 day motorcycle tour form Jo'Burg to Cape Town. Marloot Guest House was a wonderful place to start our vacation. Marin, the temporary host, was wonderful! She took us on a tour of down town Pretoria and one day dropped us off at Freedom Park and then picked us up. She was so sweet and accommodating. Breakfast was made to order and very good. The outside deck had seating with nice views. Our room had a container of homemade rusk and coffee and tea. It was very nice. Down side: can't walk safely...
