Minara is an absolute gem! From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted by the soothing sound of soft, welcoming music, setting the perfect tone for a serene and luxurious experience. The interior is truly top-notch—every corner exudes elegance and thoughtful design.

The attention to detail is impeccable: clean, crisp white sheets that provided the most relaxing sleep, branded towels and water, a private pool that offers unparalleled privacy, and even insect repellent thoughtfully supplied for our comfort. The complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were of excellent quality, adding to the overall indulgence.

Every little thing has been carefully curated, from the beautifully designed pots, plates, and glasses to the heartwarming touch of welcoming sherry. The tranquil surroundings and the camp’s own graceful bokkies made every moment feel magical. A highlight of our stay was sipping morning coffee on the stoep while a local bird treated us to his impressive nest-building skills—a truly special experience.

Pleasantly surprised... First of all... Minara is not in Dinokeng but is very close to the entrance gates. Honestly you will not know it... We stayed in the old Farmhouse. Very well appointed with full kitchen (separate from the rooms) The rooms were clean and very well maintained. The area around the unit was clean and parking was close to the unit with LED spray-lights focuses on the bush. (lights can be switch off) The pool is small but very relaxing. Fire boma was very nice however if it rains you getting take-aways. Would be nice if there was a fireplace protected from the elements. WiFi is teenager approved. there is a smart TV in the room. The villas at Minara are absolutely gorgeous, well designed, luxurious and serene. Located just outside the Dinokeng area in a private & secluded property with herbivorous animals like impala roaming. Each Villa is situated independently from others with tons of privacy and its respective private pool. The room comes with complimentary hot chocolate, rusks and welcome card. The Minara team are able to book a Spa treatment to come to your villa and a game drive within the lodge. They have WiFi with a smart tv and all kitchen tools.
