Mmakosha Lodge — Hotel in Gauteng

MMAKOSHA LODGE ,is an unsafe lodge o visit ,we got mugged on the night of our stay 30 min of our arrival thugs entered our room at gunpoint accompanied by the security/caretaker as they classify him.So we arrived there around 9pm and no admin wasnt done since we did an online booking the sooc called caretaker is the one who escorted us to the room that wasnt even part of our package ,the room wasnt safe it was doggy and I did told him that this room is not the one aI booked for the one I had booked for had a kitchen ans a separate bathroom to say he responded to me I will be lying ,30 min since he left there was a bang on the door thugs at gunpoint with him also ,,they took our belongings, cellphohnes,expensive sneakers ,watches and all other things that we had ,they even ate our food ,they asked for my boyfriend car keys he begged them not to take the car ,,,he opened the car for them they searched the ar took whatever they could ,then they left locked us in but because the door was already broken ,the guard took himself out ,without giving us any answers as to whats going on ,,,after a few min we went outside trying to see what kind of place are we exasctly at ,trust me those guys were still looming in th premises ,they went to 2 more rooms ,after an hour or soooo we heard the siren,owners came ,police came and other victims ,we shared strories and they were the same we were moved to another room trust when I tell you that that room was the safest and it was the one on our package ..why not given what we payed for in the first place thats the question I couldnt even get an answer for even today ,thats whats traumatises m even more ,we lost money ,we lost assets all at once and noone says anything so i wouldnt advice anyone to book at MMAKOSHA lodge ,Poor admin,Poor service ,Poor management ,poor security and yet they kept on saying this is the first time this happens so were we the ones to experience this ,,,are things gonna change from now onwards after our...

The place was clean, but needs some serious maintenance. R750 for one night was not worth it. The shower did not have a door on it- which caused the whole bathroom to be under water (also because the supposed shower head sprays out more on the sides than through the head itself) and slippery, it was a high safety risk for me since i had a knee operation not long ago of which i did inform them of. That is also after i had to switch rooms with my parents(luckily we booked at the same place, rooms next to each other) because the room i initially booked, did not have a shower anymore- the base was still there with a hole in the wall where the head used to be.. (specifically asked for a shower due to my physical disabilities). I honestly can not recomend this place to anyone with a good heart. Even tho Mpho did run around to sort out other issues that arrised also, and he did it...

Rooms - Dirty. Bathroom - Dirty. No Hot water for 2 days. Room stinks. The window sills are filthy. We got a half a bottle of beer in our fridge (from previous occupants im assuming). Bedroom mat - full of stains. We got very cold. No heaters in rooms. The extra blanket provided was filthy. The shower stinks like urine and is filthy. No coffee/tea making facilities in the room. No burglar proofing on our windows (We stayed in cottage A). TV has no dstv. It is just an ornament in the room. No soaps or toiletries provided in the room. No bottled drinking water provided. One towel placed on bed for 2 visitors. Blinds in bathroom look like they went through a war they didnt survive. We also had to feed their poor very hungry and starving dog (brown dog). Dog is clearly very abused. (Reported to authorities). I am highly disgusted in the stay. I will never...
