This place has good sides and bad sides really.||I stayed two days.||The first evening the transfer from the airport worked fine; Joshua, the owner, welcomed me warmly. The room is alright, providing everything you need: bed, extra blankets, heater, 1l of drinking water, tea and coffee; in the bathroom there were no shower facilities but only a tub - which was nice but a little bit inconvenient if you need a quick wash.||The next day I needed transfer to and from the airport again - and nobody was there to collect me from Tambo International. So the odyssey began, tried to call the guesthouse, texted them - no reaction/answer. Finally, after half an hour, Joshua's wife showed up - it was quite obvious that something had gone majorly wrong, and, as a lost resort, she filled in.||The second very unpleasant surprise was that the guesthouse offered free transfer from AND to the airport - at least that's what they advertise on Booking.com; when I needed to get to the airport at 4 in the morning, Joshua told me out of the blue that that was wrong, I had to pay an additional 150 Rand - Booking.com took 20% of the price of the room - and that was how they made up for it: the customer had to pay more - that shocked me quite a bit (especially since there ARE customers on Booking.com rating this hotel excellent explicitly because of the free transfer FROM and TO the airport - so either that's a false review or they just charged me, and not others - either way it wasn't a good feeling...).||When I told him that that was the money for my meal today, his answer was: "Then you must go hungry today."||The next morning the house maid was highly astonished to see me waiting for a transfer to the airport (although this one had been prearranged as well) - Joshua's wife filled in again. She didn't charge me for that transfer as an apology for yesterday's fiasco, yet, considering that I had chosen the guesthouse because it offered free transfer both ways, this was cold comfort.||Was never...
