What an absolute pleasure to spend a working weekend in Soweto staying at the Pimville Guest House hosted by the congenial and super professional Wilhemina and Phineas Kutumela. Six of us Rainbow production people descended on the Guest House for two nights while working at the nearby ICON Soweto, staging a Youth Day event. ||Firstly, to have six identical rooms made allocation a dream, as no-one was better off than another! They were all just right with everything one could possibly need. ||Secondly, the comfy double beds with crisp white linen and thick blankets to ward off the cold were just awesome and this coupled with the wonderful hot showers made the perfect end to a hard days work! ||Breakfast was a feast with eggs accompanied by a hot yummy buffet of meat treats and of course all the fruit, cereals and yoghurts you would want. One of the big plus factors was the easy yet secure access in and out of the property which made coming and going safe and simple. The location of Pimville Guest House is great as they are close to Maponya Mall and not too far from the famous Vilakazi Street - so if you're travelling for biz or leisure this is a great spot to stay. ||Our genuine gratitude and appreciation to the Kutumelas who could not have been better hosts - as we truly turned their lounge upside down creating a production hub! This couple bench mark Guest House service and I wish them every success as they deserve it in every way....

I was greeted by the owners at the gate, and had help with my considerably heavy bags! The room was on the smaller side but perfectly appointed, and I slept well. Breakfast the next morning was absolutely delicious, and I especially appreciated the eggs and toast prepared to order. I was even surprised with an impromptu interview with the owner and tour guide, who, like me, is a former teacher. I will definitely be taking advantage of this great location, phenomenal price, and excellent service on future...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I loved our visit to Pimville & at stay at the Pimville Guesthouse. We will most definitely stay there again should we be in the neighbourhood. We needed comfort, rest & quiet...we got just that & more. ||||The guesthouse is beautiful. Breakfast was exceptional. I wish we could have been able to cook for ourselves but that is not allowed (maintenance issue). So when you go to this guesthouse, expect to eat take aways from Maponya Mall & nearby restaurants. I wanted to stay indoors & rest because when I am home on weekends, I never rest so having to go out to eat was not ideal for us & my boyfriend and I do not...
