The host was amazing and the apartment stunning. Great hospitality and customer care. However, some of the security at the gates were discirmatory and judgemental in the sense that on return from a function in the evening two cars following each other, being driven by a family member "because the cars looked like an UBER" one was denied entry, the second car was allowed in. A third car with another enthic group, similar circumstances, were allowed in after negotiating " all three cars had access codes. It would be helpful to customer care train your security staff , yes security is vital but don't discriminate residents customers based on the cars they drive or their skins colour. BEWARE !!!! Very Very Bad Place..The blyde is one "USELESS "place..once they get hold of your payment they don't worry with you at all no matter what happen they won't help you... Bad staff.... very Bad Secuirety at the lagoon gate sending you from desk to desk for a tag to enter the beach I was waiting almost an hour for a stupid tag...you can't walk bare foot when coming out what shit is that now....ther was no blankets,aircon or heater in the unit customer service telling me they can only let the owner no by Monday thers nothing they can do (so if u die of the cold you die) what a joke I only booked 1 night this place will neva see me again USELESS USELESS USELESS...I'll rather book a dirty guest house before booking again...

The beach area is lovely ... Entry and exit from the place is a nightmare - sometimes more than 30 min wait just to go to the shops. The residential part is a congested townhouse complex. The beach closes at 5 - no nighttime swimming - very restricted time at the most fun part The day you check out you a denied entry to the beach even if your check out time is the afternoon - there is nothing to do and nowhere to go. Only one restaurant - service at snail's pace. Overall - not a great...
