Blommekloof Country Cottage — Hotel in George

We loved our 4 nights in the Sunflower cottage! It was the perfect spot to explore the local attractions - Lion's Creek distillery, Outeniqua Moon horses, hikes, and mountain bike rides. We loved staying in as much as we loved exploring - the cottage was comfy and filled with all the essentials and special touches. The outside area was perfect for our morning coffee and braais, and we loved the inside fire and games for colder nights. Ali and Happy made us feel super welcome; Ali even baked 2 birthday cakes for me! The dogs and farm animals were just as welcoming ;) Looking forward to our next visit...

We had the most wonderful stay at Blommekloof Country Cottage. We loved our hosts and their friendly menagerie. The built in outdoor braai is lovely for the warm evenings at Blommekloof. We found the cottage extremely comfortable and the kitchen very well equipped. Best of all was the fully enclosed garden for our doggie to feel safe and secure but also large enough for him to explore. We will definitely stay again. Until then... we already miss the peace and tranquility at...

Spent a great weekend at the Sunflower Cottage. Spacious cottage, nice outside braai area and a fenced garden for the dog - perfect. ||||There are two bedrooms (one double and one twin) with a shared bathroom. Completely off the grid so not affected by loadshedding! Gas stove and oven, fridge and freezer run off solar and a big braai.||||The cottage is out of cell phone range but you can just walk up the road if you really need signal....
