This place is simply amazing. Imagine waking up in the morning to zebras and giraffes hanging out right outside of your window, it is simply breathtaking. The owners are incredibly friendly and you can really tell that they enjoy what they do. They offer tours of the reserve, which are very informative. Neil, one of the owners, knows almost everything there is to know about the animals and the geography of the reserve. The cottage we stayed at is very cozy and you really feel like you are alone with the animals. The horses and dogs only add to the experience. The woman running the place is just rude. I called her to enquiry about walks and she asked me in a bad way to check her website and make a reservation. I checked the website and the booking area is just for rooms, not walks. But since the website stated 9am and 2pm walks, we showed for a 9am walk. The gate was locked and when I called to announce we were outside she just turned us down in a very rude way. Waste of time! A bunch of friends got together and stayed at the lodge for a weekend and it was wonderful! The little house we stayed in was so beautiful and felt like home. It was wonderful so see animals in the field whenever you looked out the window and the friendly mini horse that came and checked on us every so often was very sweet.
