L'Heritage Retreat — Hotel in George

Absolutely fantastic guest house, and even better owners and hosts. Jeremy and Bernice are fantastic people and have extremely high attention to detail and the decor is fabulous. We really enjoyed our stay at the guest house and Wilderness itself is a lovely clean, relaxing little village with plenty of restaurants. Great little market attraction every Friday night is great and you're a short drive away from the renowned Sedgefield market.||||L'Heritage is highly recommendable, the decor is beautiful, the rooms are tastefully decorated and the king beds are very very comfortable.||||Raymond the guest house dog is gorgeous, extremely friendly and placid and is lovely to know he will be getting a friend in the coming weeks called Delila. L'Heritage is the perfect place to stay as it is positioned just a few minutes drive from Wilderness village, and set in a tranquil retreat with spectacular views of the mountains. ||The rooms & beds are extremely comfortable ,and there is a very nice swimming pool with sun beds.| Our hosts Jeremy & Bernice are the most wonderful, friendly couple who leave you in peace and privacy to enjoy your stay. Initially we were disappointed to be so far away from the town but once we had established that a shuttle could transport us to the local restaurants we were reassured. Our hosts were delightful, friendly and hospitable. Their recommendations for where to eat and what to do were superb. The whole setting was idyllic and we really enjoyed being in the luxurious " honeymoon suite" The outdoor pool looked clean and inviting. 2 gorgeous Labradors who faithfully followed Jeremy everywhere added to our enjoyment.||Decor was tasteful.
