An unforgettable stay at Mountain Pastures Game Lodge! We were welcomed with such warmth and treated like VIPs from the moment we arrived. The rooms are beautifully refurbished and decorated—quiet, cozy, and incredibly comfortable—with luxurious bathrooms, soft towels, and thoughtful amenities that made for a peaceful night’s sleep. Meals were tailored to our vegetarian needs: fresh, home made, nourishing, and full of flavour, with farm-fresh milk, honey, and free-range eggs straight from the land. The standard chalet had high-end self-catering facilities. We loved the game drives, scenic hikes, breathtaking sunrises and sunsets, and cozy evenings by the fireplace. We left feeling grounded, calm, and inspired.

With future plans for a kids’ play area and all proceeds going toward uplifting the local community, this place is truly something special.

Our last-minute decision to visit Mountain Pastures Game Lodge turned into a wonderful surprise and a truly memorable evening!

A big thank you to Leon and Michelle for the warm welcome and outstanding hospitality. The braai dinner was delicious, and the friendly atmosphere made us feel right at home.

The rooms are brand new, with super comfortable beds and an excellent shower. Waking up to the mountain views was a highlight, and the game drive with Leon was an unforgettable experience.

I stayed at Mountain Pastures with my 84 year old dad who had stayed here before. I did not know what to expect, but what an AMAZING place.
