Osler Place Self-Catering — Hotel in George

Our group of four needed a place for the night on our way from Jeffreys Bay to Cape Town. Osler Place ended up being perfect. Plenty of room, three bedrooms and 2 baths, and large open kitchen let us spread out and relax. Communication with Jill (our contact for the unit) was excellent! Check in procedures were emailed and explained via text, all very clearly. She also graciously assisted us with dining options for dinner and breakfast the next morning, and both places we chose were great. She helped us to feel welcomed. This is the 2nd time we stayed for a few nights. The units are a true treat and feels like you are in your own spacious townhouse more than anything else. Very neat and everything available in terms of kitchen, appliances, bedding (with electric blankets), toweling in bathrooms, etc. Lovely braai facilities and outside dining option. The owner is very friendly and professional and goes out of her way to make sure everything runs smoothly with booking, checking in and the like. This is a beautiful place with enough room for 6 people per unit. We booked 2 units as a family and got both next to each other. This was easy to navigate between the 2 with regards to the cooking and eating. Kids enjoyed themselves in the other unit as adults were in the other. Kids kept themselves entertained with the games provided. Drive to the beach was about 3-5 minutes. Parking was packed as there was a triathlon on the day. Managed to get parking and the kids...
