What a hidden gem this place is! We stayed as a stop off between Cape Town and Plettenberg Bay and I'm so glad we chose to stay two nights instead of just one as we were then able to take in this beautiful place.|Peace and quiet, fabulous views and a very comfortable place to stay. We stayed in Grysbok which had two bedrooms, a lounge with kitchen and a Braai/BBQ room, perfect for our family. The pool area is stunning and the entertainment room would be a real asset for bigger groups.|All four of us took advantage of the horse riding with Linda which was wonderful, we had to go in twos because of the number of horses she had. My children, aged 17&18, whilst have been on horses before were inexperienced but the horses were great for them as well as for myself as an experienced horse rider, they either were calm for the inexperienced or were easy to ride if you wanted more than a walk.|We also paid for a lasagne for the first night which was delicious and plenty enough for all of us. We also paid for a breakfast which again was plentiful, even enough for lunch as well, and perfect for our needs.|Linda and Piet were fabulous hosts and couldn't do enough for us, we were able to purchase a braai/BBQ pack from them which enabled us to stay put and not have to venture out to buy provisions.|The lodge is 30 minutes from Riversdale, into the mountains, so make sure you take everything with you, but the isolation makes it absolutely perfect to rest and relax whilst giving plenty of things to entertain you...

I was on a multi day-hiking trip along the Langeberg when I got sick and needed to get off the trail. Luckily, I happened to be close to Oudebosch Guest Farm and instead of calling the rescue services I reached out to Linda&Peter. I was picked up from the trail within no time and welcomed like an old friend.
For the next two days everyone at Oudebosch went above and beyond to take good care of me. I was served delicious meals that wouldn't upset my stomach, a fire was lit for me and in the end I got a late check out at no extra cost. I hope the circumstances why someone considers Oudebosch Guest Farm are different. Yet, going there is something you certainly won't regret.
The views are superb, the fully equipped lodges well maintained and even judging from an European perspective spotless clean, the bed super comfy, the common area and the pool very stylish and great to relax. Yet, it's the quietness and remoteness that make the Oudebosch Guest Farm an absolute insider tip. Sitting on the terrace in front of a fire, watching the springboks grazing as the sun sets behind the hills feels just like heaven on earth.
Thanks again for the marvelous time at...
Read moreWe celebrated my husbands birthday here. What a joy!! We booked all the accomodation as well as the main entertainment area for the whole weekend. We were 30 people, adults and children( between 1 and 70 year old), and we all enjoyed it so much. Firstly, super friendly and professional manager, owener and staff. Nothing is asked to much, they spoil you with more than what you ask for. Secondly, beautifull surroundings and facilities. Our guests, especially those from Urban areas, could not believe the natural beauty of Oudebosch. The kids could not get enough of the pool, the dam (kajacking) and the open lawns where (old and young) could play .....a good mixture of soccer and rugby!!!! I recommend Oudebosch for any tipe of breakaway with...
