Plett Forest Cabins & Wedding Venue — Hotel in George

Great value for money and really comfortable beds. We stayed in the big cabin right on the edge of the dam and the surrounding is beautiful. We didn't spend much time at the accommodation but the owners were always friendly and helpful and their animals well behaved and friendly.

Only downside is lack of any carpets on the cold concrete floor and nothing such as a dressing table or somewhere to put your things down amd sit while getting ready.

Something to keep in mind is the cellphone signal is pretty much 0 and wifi was there but not always close enough to reach.

Cabin was dirty on arrivel, had to ask them to come and clean the floors. The towels smelled disgusting, curtains in kitchen was filthy. You had to ask cleaners to come and clean the dustbin. We had to wash all crockery and cutlery as the wine glasses still had previous people's lip and fingerprints on it. No place to hang towels in bathroom and kitchen towels. I can still go on and on.....not a good experience and will never stay...
