A Dream Getaway – Pure Bliss from Start to Finish!

We just spent the most unforgettable weekend at A Forever Resort Plett and I can confidently say it was beyond exceptional. From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless, serene, and superbly thought out.

The cabins are a true home away from home — spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished, and incredibly well-equipped. Daily cleaning service kept everything fresh and pristine, and the extras like DSTV, high-speed WiFi, plush bedding, and an abundance of towels were an absolute treat. Hot water was always available (no matter how long our post-hike showers ran!), and every detail reflected thoughtful comfort.

The resort grounds are something out of a picture book. The gardens are manicured to perfection — lush lawns, blooming flowers, and tranquil corners to relax in. The lagoon was sparkling clean and clearly well looked after, making it a peaceful backdrop for morning coffee and evening chats. The attention to upkeep throughout the property is remarkable — everything is in excellent condition, right down to the smallest detail.

What truly made this stay unforgettable, though, was the warm hospitality. From booking to departure, the team was outstanding — genuinely friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. You can feel the care and pride they put into every aspect of the guest experience.

This resort is a rare gem — a perfect blend of natural beauty, thoughtful design, and heartfelt service. Whether you're there to unwind or explore, it delivers on every front. We’ll definitely be back — and bringing more friends with us next time!

We camped at Forever Resorts for 12 unforgettable days and were thoroughly impressed with the entire experience. The resort offers an exceptional camping environment for nature lovers and families alike. Nestled in beautiful surroundings, the campsites are strategically placed near rivers, mountains, or nature reserves, offering breathtaking views and easy access to outdoor activities like hiking, fishing, and bird watching.

The facilities were impeccable—clean and well-maintained ablution blocks with hot water, convenient washing facilities, and well-lit braai areas. Each campsite also has access to electricity, which made things comfortable and convenient without losing that authentic camping feel. The addition of lights at the braai areas was a great touch for those long, relaxing evenings by the fire.

What stood out the most was the excellent customer service. The staff were friendly and always ready to assist, ensuring that we felt welcome throughout our stay. Their extra effort truly enhanced the family-friendly atmosphere of the resort.

If you're looking for a place that offers both adventure and relaxation, Forever Resorts is the perfect choice. Of all the Forever Resorts this is probably the best location and to see the guests at both the chalets and camp site during off-peak season also says a lot that it is an amazing place to stay for a day or a month if you can.

I am however despite this dissapointed and need to mention a few things that during our stay some advertised attractions and facilities are not in working order like the little 5hp self driving boats you can rent to go on this beautiful river....only one of the 4 I saw was opperational - seriously management, then rather dont offer the activity or fix them and the kids play area on the chalet side with some items broken and others like the swing, well dont have a swing, no rope or chains.... and the hardware store is less than 2km away to fix that... really poor! The kiosk are only open weekends its seems so if you are camping and dying of thirst you'll have to take a drive to town or nearest farmstall. Lastly the chalets are located in this tropical forrest which do attract insects / bugs and I had to go get some repellent to get rid of that when we arrived as it was not properly cleaned.

On a positive note the resort can be much better only if the management of the resort put more effort into it getting the...
