Avoid staying at The Dunes in Plettenberg Bay at all cost! I have never come across a more overhyped resort in my life! They offer very little in terms of value or service. The room we stayed in had no Aircon (it was broken), no shower, a busted TV, and no power most of the time! Why a South African resort does not invest in a generator is beyond me. Even most of the cheapest resorts have generators! The units are attached to each other and the walls are paper thin. We could hear every noise coming from our neighbors, like their TV, every word they said and every "action" they made. It was worse than staying at a cheap motel!
