Milkwood Bend Farm Resort — Hotel in Great Kei Local Municipality

You have to remeber that these are caravans. So they are small but sufficient. Very neat and tidy. We stayed in unit 10 which had 2 caravans which slept 7 people in total. We were only 5 so had ample space for our bags etc. A rustic outdoor undercover kitchen with braai was lovely to shield from the rain but still enjoy the outdoors. Attached to this area was our own private bathroom with a bath, shower, toilet and vanity. The unit was also prepped for loadshedding with paraffin lamps and some lights stayed on which we assume utilised the caravan's backup battery. A short walk from a beautiful private beach. A large grass area for kids to play cricket. Trampolines. Junhle gym. A recreational hall with pool table and loads of board games. And indoor braai in the rec hall. An amazing rural escape on the wild coast. Accommodation only no restaurant or day activities. Glamping style accommodation in revamped caravans. Units Currently (end 2020) under revamp and the new units are certainly worth visiting. Each unit offers a private bathroom and patio area with easy access to a shared, quiet off the beaten path beach. Very few places will ever offer the same tranquillity and exclusivity.
