Gracious Lodge — Hotel in Greater Tubatse Local Municipality

Nice, neat place, lots of nearby amenities since it's in town, the service is good, the staff is friendly, very helpful. Good interior. Has Aircon, satellite TV, bar fridge, telephone, kettle and tea. No shower, bathtub only (amazing at that), there's a big enough wardrobe. Each room has its own parking (in front of the door), aluminium doors with a burglar guard (also aluminium). The location is quite tricky since the map leads to a dead end, but you should pass the Engen garage, pass the police station, go straight until you make a left turn, conveniently enough,there are boards that lead you to the destination, good idea for new travellers in the are (hence my 5 stars...

Would I stay at the Gracious Lodge again?The clear answer is a resounding NO.

For the price of just over R1 000 per person per night this is what you get:

Fairly good location. Good clean outside appearance. Clean room and firm proper bed. Good aircon system.

Sorry the goodness ends there. On the downside I got:

Semi-old bath towel Dead, dead, dead dinner steak. Terrible breakfast juice. Cheap with horrible after-taste. Room security doors that could not open when I wanted to leave in the morning (05:30). Non-responsive call and texts (whatsapp and sms) for help. Cheap basic tasteless breakfast.

I rate it 2 stars out of 5. Not worthy...

Been there for seven weeks. I liked the Lodge in such a way that I could recommend it to everyone for a for simple reasons

All stuff members are user friendly People are being treated equally No stealing of guest items No funny rules inside the lodge The service is good on the Bar side The breakfast is on top of the range The rooms are stunning
