Lapeng Guest Lodge — Hotel in Greater Tubatse Local Municipality

The services was absolutely off from the security protocol. Kept me at the gate for more than 5mins asking all sorts of questions even though he saw we came as a convoy. First car in the front which is car 1 of 4, he stopped the car for about 2mins, the following car for about 1 Min, then it was me who was car number 3. We told him we are all going together but he asked us (My sister and I as well as my sister's assistant) "where are you going? What's happening that side? How long do you plan on staying that side? Then suddenly out of nowhere;

"you have beautiful eyes, what's your name? do you have a husband? What's the rush akiri we are talking? When you come back this side let's talk " That was very unprofessional ! Then to make thins worse when we got to the parking by reception, there was a guy conducting parking there, extremely rude and I saw him having an altercation with 2 of the ladies we came with because of parking. They Informed him that they are dropping off a guest plus they are also shooting content for the guests arriving, but he was very dismissive and rude and refused to help get parking. The elder lady ended up getting out of the car and going to the gentleman and speaking to him firmly as an elder that what he is doing is time consuming and very disrespectful and he needs to be polite to guests and show us where to park , the other guard with him said to the other guard "agg anyway we are knocking off now, let's leave" then they left without showing us where to park, the elder lady ended up conducting the parking for the cars that were there awaiting to park.

The lodge is absolutely gorgeous! Just sitting by the pool, with the view of the mountains, the chapel and all the greenery, truly heals the soul.

We had a few different buck grazing close to the pool area on our last evening, and it was such a calming and beautiful feeling to take in. Absolutely incredible!

The game drive was so interesting, exciting and again gorgeous! Thank you to Werner for taking us through the drive. We got some amazing pictures.

Over all, the lodge is absolutely spectacular. The Presidential Suite is stunning. The design is so professional and attention to detail is amazing. As well as being so clean.

The overall grounds are so well kept, and neat.

James and Marlize were friendly and helpful all the time. So thank you to them as well.
