Peermont Metcourt at Thaba Moshate — Hotel in Greater Tubatse Local Municipality

Bad bad bad. First I got at the hotel, It took them 30 min to book me in. I gave them my inv with both payments. I then was in formed that one room was canceled. I almost lost it. So they had to give me another room. That is not the end. The Saturday i wanted to swim at 6 but was told I could not swim because they had a wedding at noon. Yes you have it little old me will mess up the swimming pool at 6 for the wedding at noon. So I left for my own wedding, now when I came back it seems they lost all the proof of payments. So there we are back to I need to send them the proof again. Now I need to pay them another R400 bucks of a room they have booked me in that they have canceled. I am sorry but I will not pay them for a mess they have made. They have made my mid holiday into a nightmare. I will never ever come back to this...

Long story short: 1) dirty rooms, the one i was originally allocated still had beer bottles from previous occupants and the one they took me too though “cleaned” had a dirty bath with a plug that lets water out while you’re bathing, as well as other people’s hair. 2) rude receptionist. The woman who was working with Mahlatse was visibly irritated with my friend and I when we questioned the service. For one, the phone wasn’t working and just like everything, they blamed it on housekeeping, saying housekeeping should have given us reception’s number. The one star is really there to represent the good service given by the restaurant staff only… the rest was just...

All the staff I encountered at the hotel were friendly and efficient. This includes the security guard at the boom gate, the reception staff and the restaurant/dining area staff.

However, the rooms on the first floor don't smell good at all, because of an issue with the plumbing. During my first stay at the hotel in 2021, I assumed it was a temporary problem, but it persists.
