Kilima Private Game Reserve and Spa — Hotel in Greater Tzaneen Local Municipality

I recently had the privilege of staying at Kilima Private Game reserve and spa, I found the Reserve to be a haven of beauty, luxurious rooms, fantastic service and a place of reflection and silence. The reserve boasts of 20 rooms, including family rooms that house 2 rooms with place for families of up to 4 people. The rooms were generously decorated with the luxury beds and linen that could be expected of the Schutte family. The rooms each have en-suite bathrooms with fluffy towels and all the amenities you will need. We were captivated on our Game drive, by the majesty of this reserve. The beauty of the views and the landscapes is hypnotizing and does not disappoint at all. The reserve is still young but boasts of many varied species of buck, giraffes, bush pigs, majestic birds and many more. Although they do not have the big 5, they are part of a Horned heritage breeding programme, that sets them apart from many other reserves. You can find yourself thinking that there should be more to do. But you will be incorrect. The sanctuary of silence and tranquility makes this a perfect hideaway for a wedding, anniversary, birthday celebration and a fantastic family breakaway. The food is excellent value, and the steak and pepper sauce were one of the best have eaten in a long time.
