Groenrivier Guestfarm — Hotel in Hantam Local Municipality

We camped here on 23 Aug 2020 and was pleasantly surprised by Elsa and Johan who really went out of their way to make our stay a wonderful experience. Elsa was quick to direct us to the nearest flowers in the adjacent reserve and also had a stunning colorful brochure at hand so we could identify different flowers while sight seeing. If you want to hear tomorrow coming, this is the place for you! Gravel road from the town is short but not in a good condition. At least you don't need a 4x4. Elsa, who must be in her 80s, drives around the farm in her golfcart accompanied by her 2 super chilled dogs This petfriendly campground will definitely see us again. We love this place, always try to overnight here every time we go past that way. Plenty of rocks and space for kids to climb and explore. A braai in the lapa gets a bit smoky but still a nice shelter. Each site has it's own ablution facility. Elsa, the owner of the farm, is welcoming and helpful. The cottages are also beautifully furnished and very comfortable with superb views...
