Our visit to De Oude Kliphuis Guesthouse in Nieuwoudtville has left a lasting impression on us. Not only is this one of the most beautifully restored guest houses with its inimitable sandstone exterior, but the interiors surpassed even that with the many tasteful flourishes and attention-to-detail that the antique-dealer-owner and his wife have added to this beautiful establishment. We were so glad that we chose to stay at Oudeklip. Natasha was such a lovely host and her recommendations made our trip extra special. Her communication with guest are very good from booking until leaving. The rooms are very neat and tastefully decorated with everything you will need for a self catering stay. Beds are super comfy. Although we ate at recommended restaurants and did not use the communal kitchen we saw that it had everything needed to do self catering. Their own restaurant around the corner called Die Spens is just as neat and serves great...

We had a lovely stay at Oudeklip. Best quality bedding. Electric blankets. Super hot shower. Very tasteful decor.||Outdoor braai area could have been equipped with own crockery and cutlery. We had to carry from rooms and back.||And sorry.....no platter available to spread our cold meats and cheeses.
