Based on other reviews we really expected a much nicer room. The one we got was very small, extremely basic and the bed was too awful for words. The room was not at all inviting and comfortable like rooms in the review pictures. The hot water ran out after one person showered, second person had to shower in cold water. Two small sachets of milk were all we were given for coffee/tea the entire weekend, and the tea/coffee etc was in miniscule quantities. The breakfasts were also very disappointing, very basic and bland. Renovations seemed to be going on and we were woken very early both mornings by builders noisily working right outside the room and shouting to each other. ||||On the plus side the staff were friendly and the room was clean. ||||Considering the cost was just under R1000 a night, we felt ripped off. School desk and a school chair for bedroom furniture, one bedside lamp without a bulb, an old bed with failed springs, only one tiny wincey mirror, ancient tv, creaky door,the list is endless but the less said about this "hotel" the better. The room being near gate didn't help me feel safe. I felt like I was the sentinel. The food - I'm still having a runny tummy. I'm never booking there again, ever. My advice is AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
