We had an Incredible Stay for our joint 30th birthday and also got Engaged while at Leopard Mountain Lodge!

Our stay at Leopard Mountain Lodge was nothing short of magical! The setting alone is breathtaking, but what truly made our experience unforgettable was the incredible staff. From the moment we arrived, they were warm, attentive, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.

We got engaged during our stay, and the team went above and beyond to make this perfect. They took us for a private lunch down by the river bed and the Ranger took some incredible photos we will treasure for ever.

The whole team made every moment special, from organizing thoughtful surprises (it was our 30th birthday when we were there and they had baked us a birthday cake which we enjoyed with an breathtaking view on a morning drive) to setting up an intimate atmosphere with private dinning reservations.

The lodge itself is a gem, with all the rooms offering a stunning view of the surrounding landscapes. The plunge pool on the side (not heated) was perfect for cooling down during the afternoon when it was hot. Each meal was exceptional with a unique change each day ! We were stuffed throughout our stay !!

We felt pampered and relaxed throughout, especially after our Spa treatments which both of us agreed were the best we have ever had!

I was visiting South Africa for work when I had the opportunity to visit this wonderful place. Firstly, they are very hospitable, they have their priorities sorted and are very caring about their guests. Secondly, they are very efficient with email communications as well. Three, they can help arrange transfers too - of course at an extra cost. Coming to food - one would expect a huge buffet or several options with respect to the meals (especially after looking at their pricing) but no, they have fixed limited meals, especially the lunch, but generally quiet sufficient. They took care of the fact that I had vegetarian options too ( i had informed them prior about diet preferences). The dinner by the bonfire 🔥 was simply so nice. Enjoy the view of the night sky and the dinner under the stars.

Game drives - over 4 drives we saw 4 of the big five - lion, elephant,Buffalo, rhino. But also saw plenty of giraffe, zebra, warthogs,inalas, imphalas also kudu, red ducker, birds, wilder beasts, ostriches and a jackal too. Not a reserve where leapords are sighted often. The team took extra care to keep us entertained and fed us well and there were drinks and cocktails more often than you could expect (even in the middle of no where)

Special mention - our ranger Sean (very knowledgeable, gave us in depth details) and also Jian who took real good care of us. Hayley at the bookings did her job very promptly! The support staff at dinner and breakfast were very helpful too.

Nothing short of the very best! We were there during the whole protest and the staff went way out of their way to make our stay as safe and comfortable as possible. When we drove in very early in the morning trying to avoid problems on the road, we were allowed to check in early and settle in. Ingrid even served breakfast to the other members of the family who were dropping us off at the lodge. That generous and kind spirit was evident in every aspect of the lodge - making it a genuine 5 star experience.

The view from the room, absolutely spectacular. Outside shower was so much fun. Everything was thought out - ranging from coffee making kits to blankets for the game drive.

Game drive was beyond our expectation. Thanks to James, we enjoyed the sightings of lions, elephants, white rhinos, buffalos and a cheetah - all very close up too!

Food was great too. We really appreciated the private dinner in a boma. We were accompanied by a baby nyala nibbling grass next to us :) Even the Spa was of top-quality, especially so when the pricing was...
