Palmhof Chalets — Hotel in Kai !Garib Local Municipality

This is truly a beautiful small little place, the staf is friendly, but the management is poor, we stayed there one night and the pipes in the bathroom burts, there security was the plumber he was super at this job, but however my husband had to help him because he was working alone, my husband and I had to spend our night drying and cleaning this whole little chalet until 10pm because the owners now say they don't have cleaners that time of the night, let me tell you something i am a business owner and if needs be I'll be coming to mop and dry the place because thats what i do for my customers, thats what you call good service, not just sending a one man show and expect him to do everything himself, if i knew your answers would have been (we don't have cleaners that time of the night) i would have stopped my husband from going out and close the tap on the water supply and let you pay for all the wood water damage, but as kind as we are we speared you the expense, after all for you it seems all about the money.||And i hope that when we visit again that your impression on what client services was has changed to |how...

We went on a roadtrip to Augrabies Falls with our motorbikes and wanted to stay at a nice place because the first day we rode nearly 600km.When I made the booking Nicolene was extremely helpful to accommodate all 5 of us in one chalet.When we arrived at 2pm it was VERY hot.The check in was quick and the air conditioning in our rooms was running. The rooms were clean and so the rest of the chalet.We decided to have a braai the evening and asked the people at reception if they could help us with it.We gave them a list of what we needed and left on our bikes to do some sightseeing. When we arrived back at the chalet about two hours later everything that we ordered was there.We paid the account for the food,charcoal and other stuff with a smile.There were no additional charges.The next morning we checked out.Every person we dealt with at Palmhof was very friendly and helpful.The only negative point is that our chalet had no aircon in the living area.It didn't bother too much since we were not there the whole day.Fantastic...

Arrived on the 6th of January, checked in pass 3pm discovered fridge giving problems and aircons not working properly. Reported to matter to reception lady named Remona we were then told she's the only one on duty and and we can only be assisted at 7pm when security arrives. I went to reception to follow up before 7pm as I saw security arrived, to my surprise the security didn't know about anything. I then went with security to reception she became extremely rude I asked if its a problem if we need assistance she then started to shout not giving me any chance to talk. Extremely unprofessional and pathetic as this is not our first time at palmhoff. I do belive professionalism is and how you treat your clients or visitors is key. Remona mentioned she has been in the industry for very long but her actions and pathetic behaviour shows different. Client service...
