I am giving this really loving looking, quaint hotel 2 stars because I had such different experiences from the two hosts.
The evening before we were warmly welcomed at the bar for drinks and stories by the gentleman who owns the hotel
and were eager to return for breakfast. The evening and way they’ve put new life into the hotel for the past four months deserves 5 stars.

We had dinner at the hotel after spending some time in the lounge with a cosy fire in the fireplace. Martie and Gert made you feel so special and welcome.The menu was presented with a "all the food is delicious"comment but Gert is a braaimaster and his basting sauce is out of this world convinced me for the steak.
