N4 Guest Lodge Rustenburg (Accommodation Rustenburg / Contractor Accommodation in Rustenburg) — Hotel in Kgetleng River Local Municipality

This is by far the worst place I have stayed at in South Africa. The moment we opened the door, dust on the two bibles by the headboard shelf was visible. The whole headboard shelf thing was covered in dust.

Grey linen? But why? I don't use grey linen in my own home and I wouldn't expect an establishment in the hospitality industry to use grey linen. If they can't dust off visible dust, what guarantee is that they provide clean sheets for new guests, I wondered.

No backup power. We got there and they were experiencing loadshedding. We went for our event and got back late at night and there was another loadshedding. The whole place was very dark. I think it's now common that loadshedding is here to stay and having solar lights on your premise is much better than not having any lights at all. After the scheduled loadshedding, there was an electrical fault, so there was no power the whole night. We never got any update on what was happening. An update was sent the following day, long after we had left the establishment.

Beds are not comfortable but I wasn't worried because that's probably because what you pay is what you get.

I am giving it one star and the star is for the lady who arranged our booking. The process itself was fast and efficient and they were quick to respond to messages.

The room came with a cooling fan, a kettle, a small TV and a fridge. I never got to use them because of loadshedding.

Power was back 30 minutes before we left for our event. We tried the WIFI and it was very poor. You couldn't open an email or even load Google maps on...

Truly a amazing establishment. Only downside in my personal opinion & because it's all about personal preference!!! The rooms are just to small.

Other than that.

Unique, amazing, clean, well kept from garden to the exit sign. Very very safe, remote controlled gated entrance. Larger than most pool.

And not even 10min's drive into Rustenburg.

Please take note, I only went and viewd the available rooms. This rating is based on what I observed during my walk through.

And my rating about the room is purely because of personal preference of the size...

Zero for me. A place to hide your head. One towel for the entire week. Not washed nor hanged outside for it to get some fresh air. TV mounted in the ceiling can't watch TV while seating on the chair,you need to sleep. Bad bad l. Very long week. A lodge needs to feel like home. The shower is bad water comes out in drops.
