[01/02, 15:09] Wendy: Bad Very misleading to what the actual house is. The sea view is minimal from the main ensuite. The tvs in the rooms albeit wonderful to have is difficult to watch as most of their positioning is obscure. The kitchen was a total shock, the stove was useless as you had to manually light it each time you wanted to use it...talk about going back in time. The total appearance of the kitchen floors are horrific. The dining room has the most uncomfortable chairs that are hard and that is basically where all social activities can be done as the lounge does not have a fan or air con and it is stuffy there. The place we were told had a proper clean out before we took the keys however we found things in the cupboard dirty and relayed the message to the owner. We had to ask for toilet rolls and towels even after the morning clean up. There is no shower curtain in one of the bathrooms. The carpets were never vacuumed neither in the bedrooms or in the living area. The drinking glasses are distasteful, there are recycled candle holder glasses in the cabinet that we used, this was brought to the owners attention too. Although we were told that we were not supposed to make noise the neighbours are very noisy. We will never recommend this place our experience was not good at all. I recently spent time with my family and was utterly disappointed. This place lacks basic comfort, cleanliness and security. The dining chairs need to be retired, YES RETIRED!. ​The gas stove is a accident waiting to happen( felt like i was camping using matches & gas again). The oven stays in protection mode ( use google to operate). The toaster will burn your bread within a minute 😳 ( watch and operate). The toilets have not seen any anti- germ / bacteria cleaning in a long time and stinks like urine ( the supplied air freshner may help the odour for a while). The dust on the blinds were thick. The beds and linen were fair. The cherry on the top was that ZERO security was found to be in working condition. Oh- I almost forgot about the dirty worn out / cracked /tiles. (I'm not entirely sure if this was left to blend in with the decor theme of the house from the 1960's or the owner who charges a premium price sees this neglect as their strong business acumen.). Ps. The last 3 photos here have no association to this property. This is very misleading.

Such an amazing experience. The booking experience as well as the reception was fantastic. Jane is such a great host who went out of her way to accommodate us as we had an elderly mum who battles with stairs. The place is perfect. What you see on the internet is exactly the same. You definitely get value for money and we'll be back in future. The staff is so friendly...
