Finding the resort was pretty easy. They have a recently upgraded ablution block however I camped closer to the older facility and ended up using that instead. Even though it was older I had no issues during use. Hot running water at all times, well maintained and restocked regularly. I was lucky as one of the toilets even had a bidet. There are plenty of sites within the park. The site I picked ended up being too sandy, lots of loose sand but overall I managed to level the caravan, seemed like the recent flooding had eroded the site abit. Sites are maintained regularly, wheelie bins are also provided. Electric power points were close by. The resort is access controlled and seemed pretty safe, considering what the resort charges to camp, I definitely feel that it's real value for money without a doubt. The resort boasts a large pool area, a spa, different types of accommodation, venue hire, a creche and even an entertainment area. Shops, malls and even a flea market are all within walking distance. Treasure beach is just a few kms away. I dealt with Melissa from the get go who was very informative and really friendly. She made my telephonic booking effortless, answered all my questions, and had been very understanding. Bluff Eco Park has a good vibe, everyone was friendly, no one caused an irritation or littered the site, I will definitely return for future visits considering how accommodating they were to me as a first time camper, answering all my questions no matter how silly they...
Read moreHaving family on the Bluff & with ourselves living in Uvongo, we were in search of accommodation that was affordable & conveniently situated. With the specials that the Bluff Eco Park often have on their 2 sleeper Eco Cabins, the affordability side of it was more than ticked, & being is such close vicinity to the Bluff Towers & Hillside Shopping Malls, the location is also very convenient. The cabins were comfortable with a bar fridge, 2 plate cooker, kettle, drawers, choice of 2 single beds or double bed, seating inside & on the covered veranda & a small kitchenette with cold water only - no tv or wifi but one is told upfront that it is meant as a step up from camping so we did not have issues in those regards - we simply took along our LTE which worked perfectly for us, & next time we'll probably take along a portable radio as well. I've seen mention that the grounds are dark at night so one is adviced to take along a torch, but we found it to be sufficiently lit. The ablutions were neat with nice sized showers giving one space to dry off & change in private, & are only a short walk away from the cabins. Whilst there is a lot of sand due to the shade from all the trees, many areas around the cabins are suitably paved with a braai area for each cabin. Based on our stay, we would definitely recommend the Bluff Eco Park & will definitely be making use of their...
Read moreHorribly rude and disrespectful management and Reception staff. My partner and I are relaxed peace loving individuals and were paying guests but were treated with disrespect and uncourteous behaviour. We are avid travelers and have never resorted to writing a bad review about any establishment but this is well deserved as being thee most rude and aggressive hospitality we have come across. If you have kids I would not recommend it as well due to open manholes about which is ironic due to the fact that there are 2 nursery schools on their property. I could go on... But all-in-all we felt unwelcome and uncomfortable, even being in our campsite. If you want a lekker holiday that is chilled and friendly trust me don't go to The Bluff Eco Park. I have never met such a rude bunch of people. We were only friendly and polite people not asking them to even slightly go out of their way. I feel so sorry for the security guards and grounds-man there I cant even imagine how they must be treated. I would not recommend supporting...
