Dear Peta, Your arrogance is quite astounding. Arrogant enough that you expect a paying client to accept your incompetence, bullying and offensive nature. Your style of communication reaks of profiling even before arrival with the consistent bombarding of presumptuous messaging before arrival. I did you a courtesy of not mentioning the abuse I received from you when 2 friends arrived in 2 separate cars to pick us up at 14h00 in the afternoon to show us around an area we are not familiar with. The audacity to pick up your phone, call and shout at a paying client over because you jumped to conclusions. In your response to my previous review again your incompetence shows up on that you failed to address the facts I have put forward regarding the below par offering your guesthouse has to offer. I really enjoyed our stay at Fever Tree Guesthouse, and we truly adored the place. However, as a group, we do feel disappointed by the feedback received. Naturally, with a group booking, there will be some noise, but we were mindful of cleaning up after ourselves as much as possible.

What we don’t understand is how we can be charged or criticised for stains on bedding when we already paid a cleaning fee. If a cleaning service is included, then why are we being penalised for what the service is meant to cover? If guests are expected to clean their own bedding, then there shouldn’t be a cleaning fee at all.

We respect the establishment, but this approach feels unnecessary and unfair.being charged extra for normal cleaning while a fee has already been paid leaves us feeling singled out.

I was very sad to have to cancel our stay as we were so looking forward to it after seeing all the lovely reviews. We requested we get access to the room 1 hour earlier as we had a wedding we needed to leave for at 2pm. The lady we chatted to on whatsapp was rude and made me feel bad for the request stating "I cant expect guests to check out earlier than 10am" I didn't think I was asking for a lot considering it is only a shower. They agreed to let me know on the day if they can accommodate me but I wasn't willing to take that chance and get left to find a public shower to get ready in.
