Highrocks Beach House — Hotel in KwaZulu-Natal

Unfortunately the experience I have of this really beautiful house, is not of having stayed at the property but rather with the owner Julian. I booked this property together with HOUSE ON THE BEACH, for 23 people over the Easter weekend (14-18th April 2022). Unfortunately due to severe flooding and roads being washed away in that area, South Coast, it was impossible for my family to travel there. Julian was aware of the difficulties and warnings in place not to travel by the road agency not to travel and I spoke to him several times on Wednesday, 13th of April to communicate this. He was adamant I should travel as he is not willing to cancel and refund the booking. This would have been reckless on our part not to follow national guidelines thus suggesting to him that I understand this is a situation that can't be helped, and even said I would accept a 50% refund to help both parties not lose out. He declined. This is the kind of person Julian has turned out to be l, unfair and unwilling to compromise. So please think twice about doing...
