Peacevale Getaway — Hotel in KwaZulu-Natal

Absolutely beautiful and enchanting little gem. The location is breathtaking with sweeping green views of hills and trees all around. The double volume open plan room we stayed in had 4 single beds, a 3/4 bed, 3 toilets and 2 showers with ample privacy. The back section is where you will find the super views and the front section of the cottage is dwarfed by 2 large avo trees. There is a swimming pool as well and you can braai, or cook indoors as there is so much space inside. The staff are incredible too. They are full of smiles and happiness having guests visit. I'm definitely going back to this...

Unfortunately, we were there for 9days. There was a mess with booking, the rooms we booked were given to other people and we were separated. The attitude of the manager was very disappointing. The minor kids were separated from the parents, were put in another building. The the room given was further away, was still being renovated. They had just painted it, and it smelled of paint terribly. The over experience was not good at all. Definitely not...

I called the place at 10pm... in desperate need for a place to stay for 4 nights with 3 people... the lady answers the phone and rudely tells me how late it is and how she prefers for me to call in the morning... my question is, WHY DID SHE ANSWER THE PHONE IF SHE DOES NOT WANT TO WORK AT NIGHT... is that how accomodation services work? Horrible...
