Brinksfontein — Hotel in Laingsburg Local Municipality

Brinksfontein and the Karoo is the perfect place to relax and recharge your batteries. The open plan house with the fireplace between the living area and kitchen has everything you need and is lovely and sunny.

We enjoyed the veld and took lovely pictures during sunrise and sunset.

The fresh warm bread and homemade jam upon arrival gives you an indication of the service you will receive from Rae during your stay.

Brinksfontein will...

If you need the silence of off-the-grid living, Brinksfontein is the place to go. Switching off is made easy as there is no cellphone signal or electricity.

Cooking and showering are made possible by gas and a massive fire place will keep you warm on winter nights.

There is a mountain biking trail and various picnic spots that will get you out of the house.

One warning though - don't attempt the road leading to Brinksfontein...

Beautiful setting, great hosts, incredible fresh baked bread & apricot jam on arrival and remote enough to not see anyone in 4 days.

Loved the quite open space of the Karoo to get out of the rush of life and wind down.

Spend most of the time in the summer heat of day in the wood fired jacuzzi. Will be back in winter.
