Patong Guest Lodge — Hotel in Lepelle-Nkumpi Local Municipality

Positive and Negative points: Had a good stay, rooms are up to standard (standard hotel room) , room service cleans well, air conditioned , well spaced, 4 out of 5, resembles the photos on the website.

Admin is bad from the moment you try gain access to the facility.

I used the hotel entrance intercom for 2mins with no answer then i called the front desk, the lady came to open the gate, we walked to the lodge reception.

We started a process of searching for my transaction regardless of having emailed a proof of payment a week ago.

Eventually they find the reference for the transaction.

We walk back to the hotel, then the person assisting me runs back to the lodge reception to fetch the key.

They return with the key , point the room and thats it.

In future Patong must get the admin right, also include a simple note as to where simple amenities can be found, only during checkout i found out there was an ironing board in the communal kitchen area.

I travel a lot in Limpopo and I struggle to find good places to stay but when it come to a place where I feel comfortable, there is no other better Accommodation, People and Food in Lebowakgomo - Limpopo than the Patong Guest Lodge and Hotel, from the front line reps Shabi and Lucy to the kitchen staff, especially the chef who prepares my Halaal Food to cleaning staff and not forgetting the bubbly and friendly Caine, Jacob Chuene has a winning team by his side, his Team are a great bunch of people to spend your stay with. For a growing brand like Patong there is still so much potential and its always a pleasure to spend my nights in the company of wonderful people and a neat and tidy environment with the amenities and great food. Patong Lodge is the place to stay if you're in Lebwakgomo or its surroundings. It's a nice place, where u can even host events n also have accomodation. But I do believe the place still requires further improvements especially for the price we pay. The most ridiculous price for me is 2500 per night for a family unit when I could pay 1500 at other more established accomodations. Things to improve... a) please provide teas and coffees n bar fridge in all rooms instead of paying extra 200 for that, especially tea. B) the forn towels, in other rooms where we booked towels were ripped C) provide more than one key for rooms. Couldn't believe you must leave key by the door if u want room cleaned cos there are no spare keys D) generators for load shedding, we all know there is load shedding everything. Don't inconvenience your tenants E) working microwave in the main kitchen F) after Cleaning towels were not replaced, there were no towels because they didn't have the rooms keu.

I do love the aircons in the rooms and loved the hot water and shower pressure. The receptionist, Kgomotso - good service she provides - well...
