Nedile Lodge — Hotel in Lephalale Local Municipality

My partner and I travelled here as the first part of our honeymoon and we were blown away by Nedile Lodge.||The whole experience was truly special, we were looked after so well by Kate, Hanro and the entire team at Nedile. The food was absolutely amazing and our room was beautiful, very comfy bed, fantastic bathroom with a gorgeous private balcony and outdoor shower.||We were woken up each morning with a tea or a coffee and a flapjack (very yummy) before going out on a game drive with Hanro who was very knowledgable about the animals and kept a respectful distance from them whilst also allowing us to get the best views. Seeing elephants directly in front of the jeep willingly come up so close was very special and we managed to see so many animals on each drive! We loved stopping for drinks & snacks out in the game reserve, drinking our beers in front of some baboons!||Nedile Lodge is complete escapism which is very rare in the modern world. There’s WiFi available in the main lodge but none in the rooms and no TV’s but sitting on the balcony overlooking the bush and watching animals come up to drink from the waterhole is far better. It’s an experience which we’ll always remember and we would love to go back one day! ||Another special little touch was the team at Nedile making us a packed lunch/breakfast with bacon sandwiches and apples with our names on for the long journey back to the airport which was really thoughtful and hugely appreciated! Nedile lodge, luxury remastered in the middle of the bush.

Stayed at the lodge for 2 nights and I can’t quite figure out if the time stopped or went too fast ? Surely went too fast as I would have loved to enjoy the breathtaking view from the terrace a little longer and chill by the fire in the beautiful, well decorated living room.

The team has a perfect sense of attention to details and genuine care for its guests. From arrival to departure, everything is well in sync to ensure a smooth and memorable stay.

Rooms: spacious, incredible terrace where from you can enjoy games from your room, fireplace which is a top addition for comfort but also ambiance. Insane bathroom with a tub to enjoy the view.

Common areas: comfort and design working well together, you feel at home even if away from home. Cozy and modern, there is everything you need.

Food: one of the most important topic when traveling isn’t it ? You won’t be disappointed at Nedile. Homemade quality and tasty meals, beautifully plated, you can feel the care put into it.

Game: the list would be too long but among the Big 5 I was pleased to see more stuff such as Hyenas, hippos, giraffes, crocodiles, zebras giving us a show fighting, lions hunting, cheetahs having breakfast…

Why it’s true luxury? Importance is in the details… water bottle in your bed to warm it was part of their twilight service ; coffee and tea delivered to your room in the AM just before you hop on for the game ride, everything you need in the car to observe and stay warm… caring ans helpful staff. An escape I can only recommend.

From the moment we arrived, Nedile Lodge felt like a hidden sanctuary, peaceful, quiet, and deeply connected to nature. The setting is breathtaking, but what truly sets this place apart is the outstanding attention to detail and the warm hospitality from every member of the staff. Even having stayed in luxury hotels around the world, I’ve never experienced such a high level of personalized and genuine customer service.

Every little gesture made us feel welcomed and completely at home. It’s clear that the team at Nedile cares deeply about creating a meaningful experience for each guest, especially with only 5 rooms. Food was amazing, with local products and cooked with love 🧡

The true magic of the bush came alive through our exceptional guide Abrie. Its deep knowledge, quiet patience, sharp instincts, and heartfelt passion for the wild turned each game drive into something far beyond a wildlife sighting. With him, we didn’t just see the animals; we understood their stories, the land they roam, and the delicate balance of the ecosystem.

Thank you Abrie, for being the soul of our safari experience. We left with more than just memories, we left with a profound appreciation for the bush, and can’t wait to be back one day.
