Need a place to stay over near the schools in Queenstown. Mentor was a very convenient 1.2km from Queen's College, easy to find. Unfortunately finding their reception was not easy and in the end we had to phone a cell number to get the night manager to come out, open up a gate and then book us in.||||The facilities were neat, clean and the manager very friendly. ||||We were allocated a room with its window facing the inner court yard, near the door leading into the guest house. This kept us awake most of the night as people came and went, banging the door, swinging the security gate open and closed, banging keys in the locks etc. Because guests parked in the courtyard that noise also contributed to our sleeplessness.||||Shower had been damaged and the sliding doors removed, replaced with a flimsy shower curtain that did it best to try flood the floor. Good value for money, big ups to my wife on discovering it via internet after she refused a place in town with a tavern charging almost similar prices.
Love the location, up in the mountain side of Queenstown, beds comfortable, not so bothered by room size when passing by.
*Plugs & shower doors need a little bit of a revamp.
