We were there for the weekend. Firstly the service and arangements prior to our arrival was excellent, on arrival the checking in process was quick and hasslefree, with a good explanation as how to get to the luxury tent camp, the little shop at the office(that supplies cold drinks, milk, snacks, sweets, wood, fire lighters, coffee sachets, sugar etc.)and the operating hours.. The tents are realy spacious, clean and luxurious with a spacios toilet/basin/dressing area with a cupboard and a huge shower with a big glass window overlooking the lush vegetation.
The tents are equipped with a fridge and kitchenette with all the amenities. Although outside it is protected from the elements with a seethrough cover, the deck and braai area overlooking the stream and wooded area is clean and very well looked after..
We had an awesome time hiking especially the river loop with its swimming spots and awesome nature around you.. Though only 65km from the city it feels like you are well secluded and can truely rest your soul while listing to nature..
We will...
Read moreThis outing was intended to allow my son, who lives in the USA, and I to spend quality time together. B'Sorah was recommended by friends who said it was the most beautiful trail running and hiking venue for them. I have to agree. And the event was hugely successful. From the first engagement, Nicholas was responsive and helpful. The landscape is diverse and beautiful. The trails are immaculately curated and litter-free. Even though it was very hot (34 degrees), there were enough shaded spaces to allow pleasant hiking and trail running. We cooled down at the designated swimming spot in the river on both days. Swempie tent is something special; it is tastefully and comprehensively furnished with a fantastic view, especially at sunset. Although it is fully equipped for self-catering, we ordered dinner from a menu, and the food was home-cooked and delicious. I recommend B'Sorah...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I had a wonderful time at B'Sorah. We stayed in Swempie tent and were so glad we did as we went at the start of Cyclone Eloise and so had quite a lot of rain, but Swempie has a fully covered patio area so we were able to relax with the beautiful view and the sound of rain. We did take a walk down to the other tents as we were the only people there and they look lovely too. They are quite close to each other but you probably wouldn't know it unless you had noisy neighbours (however they are strict about noise levels and not playing music). Swempie is completely isolated from the rest, making it ideal if you don't like to be around other people. We managed to do a few walks which were lovely, if a bit muddy. Thank you so much Natalie...
