Boiketlong Guest House — Hotel in Madibeng Local Municipality

The Place Has Potential However I'm Not Sure If It's Poorly Managed Or It Just Doesn't Get Serious Visitors, That They Have Decided To Drop The Ball On Improving Or Maintaining It. I Left With The Understanding That It Is A Quick-ie Spot.

The Electricity At The Guesthouse Went Out at Night But The Surrounding Houses Had Electricity. And The Reception Person Was Nowhere To Be Found To Maybe Explain what Was Happening. I Called Their Phone But No Answer. So That Meant We Had To Take A Cold Shower. The Pillowcases Were Torn. The Mattress Was Lopsided. There Were Cobwebs On the Ceiling. The Sheet Had Some Weird Stain On It. The Floors Were Not Well Cleaned. There Were Flies but No Doom In The Room.

We Needed A Place To Sleep As We Were Attending A Funeral In The Area (Madidi) So To Avoid Sleeping in the Car, We Looked For An Area Close By. I Wish I Had slept In the Car.

But the Place Has Potential. Great Secure Covered Parking, Maybe To Avoid, Never Mind. What Can You Expect for R250 Overnight Stay Anyway? Look We Slept and Were Able To Be On Time For the Funeral. So For that...
