Ile du Lac Self Catering — Hotel in Madibeng Local Municipality

It's a beautiful place when you want serenity,but we were not happy that it seemed to being renovation process yet they still accommodated guests,the pool was not filled,jacuzzi not done, the TV had some issues well i can credit to It's ancient origin no wifi that needs to change it's the 21st century lastly the piece of the main dam was underwhelming we really thought would be by the main dam especially for the price.

The good side:It's fully furnished,clean and even had spare wood and quiet,so if you okay with the man made dam,just want a time away go for it,but if you're keen on hartbeespoort dam then no. So I rate it 3 because it still had it's beauties -2...

Lovely place and great for that "home-away-from-home" in a beautiful setting. The lady responsible for check-in and check-out is absolutely incredible - very friendly and kind and went out of her way to make us feel at home. Had a bit of a hick-up with the booking, but this was sorted out quickly (a different person handled this). The house offers three rooms, a comfortable living area and a beautiful spot to braai next to an extension of the dam....
