Mokuru Private Nature Reserve — Hotel in Madibeng Local Municipality

I recently stayed 3-4 knights at Mokuru Private Nature Reserve with my family of 15, and I can confidently say that it was one of the best experiences we’ve ever had. I’ve been to many places over the years, but none quite compare to the exceptional time we had here.

From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The service was top-notch—every staff member went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. The resort itself was immaculately clean, and the attention to detail in maintaining the space was clear throughout our stay.

What stood out the most was the warm hospitality and the peaceful, natural surroundings that made us feel both relaxed and rejuvenated. Whether you’re traveling with a large group or just a few people, this place truly offers something special.

A huge thank you to Mona and her incredible team! We had a wonderful stay. We booked the Main Camp for 9 nights. The main camp consist of several separate buildings to accommodate large groups. We were a party of 11 adults, 4 children, 3 babies and we were very comfortable. The bedrooms are clean, the beds comfy, the pillows perfect, the showers glorious and the towels pure luxury. Add to that, the rooms were serviced daily with fresh sheets and towels every 3rd day. Air-con for hot days, warm blankets for cold days. We had both! A better equipped kitchen you couldn't ask for, we never ran out of clean dishes. Mona's housekeeping team was on hand during the day to help clean the kitchen. Main Camp also have its own swimming, games room and volleyball court, add to that WiFi and the kids never had a dull moment. Mona, the manageress, couldn't do enough for us. We really felt so taken care of and Mokuru Lodge exceeded our every expectation. We will hopefully be back to this gem in the African Bushveld again soon. Thanks so much...

The lodge was amazing. We were there for a bachelorette and had the most amazing time. We only went for one night, and was so upset that we didn’t stay the whole weekend! Never wanted to leave! The staff was very helpful and accommodated us with everything that we needed. Was always clean and had the most beautiful views.
