I was blessed enough to be able to visits Lalibella when I was 12 I believe, my brother being 10. I hope you guys remember us, we were from Switzerland, and honestly the time I had at the camp has thought me all about life. Brian Kocher was my brother, still is, Lalibella I want you to know that he has passed in 2011. He got into an avalance at our home resort and died in it. But I want you to know that the time we had at lalibella is the few things I do remember. I was never really interested in other people , but remembering him and lalibella all I can see is him sitting in the front seat of the jeep , asking queationes like no other, our guide, I do not remember his name but his face, had to bring forth books to answer his questioned about all the animals you had in your resort, and you answered them all. This was probably 10 years ago, but now I wanted you to know. You opened my eyes to life, you thought me was life was about. My brother asked so many questions I can't even count them up, but you did all to answer them. When people say mama Afrika, you really have shown me what that means. After my brother passed in 2011, thinking back at the time we had at lalibella I can truly say you guys showed me what life is all about. All I want in life is to be able to travel back to your resort, not only because it is beautiful, and a memory of a life time, but also because lalibella has shown me what life is about. All I remember is the good times. And all I remember is waking up next to my brother in South Africa, especially lalibella, and him worrying about the monkeys. But you thought him, me and my parents so much about life I cannot even describe it. I can remember them going out and finding porcupine pines, just for us, and guys we still have them. I remember you answering all questions my brother asked, I remember the picknick we had next to rhinos, no joke, my mom was scared as hell... When you guys say mam Africa, it really is. I grew up in Switzerland, life in Colorado, USA right now, but Africa is really where you learn about yourself, and lalibella showed me this. I do not lie when I say this, I do not remember much, but I do remember the time at lalibella. Not only with your crew, but also with my brother and parents m I remember sitting at your massive table, only our family, and we invited your crew to the table. You where reluctant at first, but joined us in the end, and I remember those nights as clear as they had happened last night. It really was the time of my life, not only did I learn so much about Mama Africa, bit I learned about life. My goal in my life it to be able to travel back to lalibella, hopefully with a new generation, to show them what life is truly about. lalibella, you have truly been an eye opener, a teacher, and a try inspiration. I really do mean that. I do not know if you still remember us, the Kocher family, whom you did everything for to make us feel at home, and you truly did! I do not say this to be funny, but out if respect, I have seen true pain, but with you guys all I remember is true happiness. I will be back, I am working towards my goal knowing that I must visit you again, you have shown me the true meaning of life, and I want to pass that on! I really do hope you are doing well, and I really do hope to see you soon, as you really have been an inspiration to me and my family, in the near future I will be visiting, even if you do not remember me, my brother and parents, I will always remember you, and I will do all it takes to come back to you! lalibella is the best place on earth, South Africa is an inspiration, and you really have shown me the way of life. I will always love you guys for this, and the memories you have given me, and I will make more with you, we will be back, and I will do everything I can to come back to you, and maybe help...
