Lapa Hotel Lodge and Conference Centre — Hotel in Makhuduthamaga Local Municipality

This is a standard guest house not quite a hotel it can be 2 stars. The WiFi is terrible but atleast There is a pool. When we arrived we had no water in our room then they sorted it out then the aircons don’t fully work but they managed to adjust the fans so that we could survive the night. Their breakfast is the worst and for that price it’s appalling. We booked got 2 nights and the first day we requested breakfast atleast by 9am and we only got food at 10am, the food was substandard, 1 Vienna, 2 spoons of baked beans, 1 slice of brown toast (they don’t ask if you eat white or brown they just give you brown), a dry deep fried fish and slap chips with no salt or tomato sauce and fried eggs) and they did not even apologise that the food was so late, we then requested a cancellation for breakfast for the next day which was granted and now 2 months later we are still waiting for our refund of the breakfast we didn’t have on the last day. If you just want a place to lay your head then this place is fine. Rather go to other hotels which are actually much better. I don’t think I’d ever book this place again. Their admin is also very very terrible. Poor...

Worst experience ever . We only had hot water the first night , the rest of the time we bathed with cold water. The daily cleaning services that they say they provide was also a myth, they only came once. The toilet does not even flush , we reported all these but nothing was done , the only time management responded was was about the toilet compliant and the guy only made it worse , even worse we had to borrow toilet paper from other rooms which they cleaned . We had to swim in the dark , I just don't understand why the pool area doesn't have lights for at night.This place should be shut down.
