We had to stay there and we thought that we were booked for 2 nights. We found out that we to be there only one night. We told Sam that we will sort it out for another night... half heartedly agreed. We went to a meeting in Lady Grey (where we would be in contact with the person who would sort out our problem). At about 12h00 Sam phoned me and asked if we'd come right. My answer was that my husband is still in the meeting and I'll only know when they finished the meeting. The meeting finished at about 14h30. When I asked my husband about the booking for the night and he told me that it was sorted. We traveled back to Aliwal North. When we were about 15km away, Sam called again. We than Tsipeso for her efforts to help us, but asked her to cancel the booking and also not to use Kwela B&B again. Therefore I would not recommend this guest house to anyone because it's all about the money, no matter what the...
Read morePleasantly surprised at how neat, clean and cozy the rooms were. Not much space in the rooms if you have a lot of luggage, but ample cupboard space. Spacious shower and toilet set-up with round bar-soap, lotion sachets, and sufficient towels supplied. Coffee station with microwave, Kettle, and mid-sized bar fridge. Very old TV that I didn't bother to swith on, but definately made use of the free Wi-Fi and air-conditioner. Unfortunately their family room (situated in the front of the property) only sleeps 4, so we were given a 2nd room (2 sleeper) that was in the back row of rooms. Parking inside and getting out through the motorized gate was easy. Not too far from town but far enough to be away from the bustle. Strongly...
