Lucette Boutique Guesthouse — Hotel in Maluti-a-Phofung Local Municipality

It doesn't deserve the 4-star rating. My room was semi-clean, the previous guest left dirty underwear and cleaning staff missed it. How? Used complimentary soap, shampoo and conditioner packaging was still in the shower. Door handle was a nightmare. TV in the room didn't have a remote, which meant one has to get out of bed to switch it on & off. The bar fridge in the room made a loud noise. On our last day they didn't have water, obviously a minimal issue but such an establishment should have contingency plans. We were expected to go shower in the family room which seemed to be the only one that is connected to the water tanks on site. So unprofessional, what an inconvenience. The price is not...

This beautiful place needs a manager who has good communication skills to make sure the guests have all the help they need and are comfortable.From flickering lights to generator switching on and off every 2 minutes... Wifi was the major problem it didn't connect the whole time we were there, on the last day ..no lights , generator not switched on.. we bathed with lukewarm water and no one communicated with us about the issue. I had to ask the staff on what was the problem, and I was told they forgot to switch on the geyser..didn't even bother to ask about the plugs and lights being off as already I had a Luke warm bath and was checking...

Great conference room area. The setting up and bringing out of the food after our meeting took too much time though. Perhaps you could set out the tables in such a way that they can be used for meetings and for eating thereafter, as opposed to putting them in rows for the meeting then needing to further come set them up diffently for eating purposes (I hope that makes sense).

Mixture of friendly and not so friendly staff.

Rooms are of a standard that's not so common in the area....
