My fiance booked and there were many rooms available. When we arrived,he realised that we were black.He said that he only has one room available,it was a tatty room,in the back.The bathroom had tiles missing and broken. The sheets were dark we could not see whether they were clean or not.The continental pillow was torn.We could not leave as I was very tired driving from Cape town.The breakfast was served lukewarm on trays in the room. First of all,we get a back room,secondly, we get breakfast in the room and not in the dining room?? We paid R685.00 for this putrid segregation. They were keeping us separate from the white guests. MANYA GUESTHOUSEVWAS A PLACE TO SLEEP. THERE IS NOTHING MORE TO SAY PTHER THAN IT WAS A BED (NOT FANTASTIC) , BATHROOM. AND A TV WITG A HUGE FAN WITH ONLY 1 MODE- DAM LOUD! THE BAR AREA IS OK BUT LOUD AND OVERCHARGED EXPENSIVE. THE MENU IS OK BUT I COULD FLY TO CAPE TOWN AND BACK AND STILL BE IN TIME. LOOK, NICE PEOPLE...NICE ...PARKING AREA...IM JUST REALLY NOT UNTERESTED IN PEOPLE THAT SAY ONE THING AND DO ANOTHER! SO PLEASE...IF YOU NEED VALUE FOR MONEY...THIS IS NOT YOUR BET....IF YOU NEED A DRINKING HOLE...WELL YES YOU ARE SPOT ON...JUST BE SURE YOU DRUNK BEFORE YOU HOT THE SACK...COZ THE SACK WILL PROBABLY HIT YOU HARDER SS YLU MIGHT ASWELL SLEEP...

What a beautiful, neat, clean and hospitable place to stay. The bed linen is clean we slept so peacefully, even the bathrooms have heaters. The owner is very kind, He personally came to great us in the morning. This is a 5 * accommodation...
